A fully equipped launch range with fixed and mobile tracking, telemetry and command destruct capability.

A modern Range Control Center capable of supporting multiple missions.  Video and data displays, ethernet, telephone intercom and radio communications are available to Range Safety Personnel, Launch Operations Managers and user personnel.
Launch pads and support structures capable of supporting multiple vehicle configurations. Launch Pad 0-A supports vehicles with payload capacities of up to 2,500 pounds. Launch Pad 0-B, which supports larger vehicles, has offered full service capability since early 1999.
Versatile payload processing and integration facilities. With the modernization and upgrade of Building Z-41 and other established processing buildings such as X-15, all foreseeable requirements for pre- and post-flight processing of spacecraft can be accommodated.
Hazardous processing facilities. Building W-65 and other facilities are available for processing rocket motors and other hazardous operations.
A full service airport capable of supporting air launched vehicles and heavy cargo.

Controlled airspace, to facilitate launch operations and scheduling.

Test laboratories and machine shops with fast turn-around for unique fabrication and test requirements.

Pad 0B is designed for plume impingent loads of 1,969,000 lbs., plus 110,000 lb. flame deflector, launch mount and vehicle static weight greater than 600,000 lbs. These design figures include a safety factor between 2 and 3 compounded by a second factor of 1.5.

At 55 tons the existing flame deflector can be readily unbolted and relocated using available mobile cranes to accommodate installation and operation of a variety of flame deflector and launch mount designs.
